Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and IONICWEB CREATOR Private Limited ("BolYaar", "we") for the BolYaar app and website. By creating an account you accept them, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

1. Who can use BolYaar

  • BolYaar is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. By signing up you confirm you are 18+. We ban accounts we believe belong to minors.
  • You sign in with a mobile number you control, verified by a one-time password (OTP).
  • One person, one account. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

2. What BolYaar is (and isn't)

BolYaar is a conversation and friendship community: fans pay per minute to talk 1-on-1 with verified creators and RJs. It is not a dating, escort or adult service.

BolYaar is an intermediary under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We provide the platform that connects independent users; we don't start, select the other party to, or edit the content of your conversations. Each user is solely responsible for what they say and do, and we are not liable for private interactions between users.

3. Calls are live and never recorded

Audio and video calls are streamed live between the two participants through our real-time call provider. BolYaar never records, monitors or stores call audio or video. We only keep call records needed for billing and safety (who, when, how long, coins charged).

4. Coins

  • Coins are a prepaid, in-app currency bought in packs. They have no cash value, can't be transferred between accounts and can only be used inside BolYaar.
  • Calls are billed per minute at the rate the creator shows before you call. Each minute is charged as it starts, beginning when the creator answers. A call ends automatically when your balance can't cover the next minute.
  • Paid messages and virtual gifts are charged when sent. Gifts can't be taken back.
  • Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

5. Creators

  • Creators apply in the app and must pass a video KYC check and manual review before going online. We may approve, reject or suspend any creator.
  • Creators earn a share of each paid minute, message and gift. The share in force when a call starts applies to that whole call; we may change the share for future calls with notice in the app. Creators working with a partner agency share part of their earnings with it as agreed.
  • Earnings can be withdrawn to UPI or a bank account once they reach the minimum payout (currently ₹500). Payouts are reviewed before they are sent and may be held while we investigate fraud, chargebacks or rule breaches.
  • Creators are responsible for their own taxes on what they earn.

6. Your conduct

We have zero tolerance for nudity, sexually explicit acts, vulgarity, extortion, blackmail and harassment on calls, in messages or on profiles. You also agree not to:

  • share or ask for phone numbers, social media handles or payments outside BolYaar;
  • capture, record, screenshot or redistribute any call or private media without the other person's consent. This is strictly prohibited, can be a criminal offence under Indian law, and we will cooperate with police against anyone who does it;
  • impersonate anyone, use fake identity documents, or create multiple accounts;
  • abuse bugs, bots or payment systems, or try to get around blocks and bans.

7. Safety tools and moderation

You can report or block anyone at any time. We review reports and may warn, suspend or permanently ban accounts. Serious breaches of section 6 (including sexual content, extortion or harassment) lead to an immediate permanent ban, and the account's remaining coins and unpaid earnings are forfeited. We cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires it.

8. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app under Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account & Data. It is deactivated immediately and your personal data is erased after 7 days; signing in before then cancels the deletion. Unused coins and unwithdrawn earnings are forfeited, so withdraw first. Transaction records are kept where the law requires.

9. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep BolYaar running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change features or these terms; if a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.

10. Liability

Creators are independent users, not our employees, and conversations reflect their own views. As an intermediary, we are not responsible for what users say or do to each other in private calls or messages, though we act on reports and lawful orders. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
